I’m Sarunyoo from Thailand. I have been in Tokyo for 7 years. I came to Japan as a scholarship student. Now I am working in  Japanese IT firm. During the past 7 years, I have been to many places in Japan and had a lot of Japanese food.

When most people think about “Japanese Food”, Sushi is the first thing that comes to mind. As people imagine, we can have Sushi for a party with family, friends or colleagues in Japan too. But If you have a chance to come to Japan, you will know that there is a lot of Japanese food besides Sushi you may like it.

The first thing that I like about Japanese food in Japan is, I can have a same quality food in different taste and signature in every place in Japan. They usually mix and match local ingredient to cook a new and amazing taste.

Another thing I like about Japanese food is, the decoration of the food. It looks so beautiful. You can enjoy it even if you haven’t had it yet. I think Japanese food is kind of an art here. A Japanese chef certainly pays attention to every dish.

The fresh ingredient, like fish, meat, vegetable etc., is also a charm of Japanese food too. And Because of these elements, Japanese food is so popular around the world nowadays.
