Most of you may know “Wagyu” and especially “Kobe Beef” which is well known for the high quality of beef coming with high price. I could not refuse that Kobe Beef is top class of beef in Japan but this time I have an alternative choice of tasty beef with friendly price! It is “Hida-gyu(Hida Beef)”

Hida is a city in Gifu prefecture. Beef in Hida is tasty and the price is friendly too!

Moreover, there is a lot of Hot springs in Hida area but I would like to recommend an activity. It is Cycling on the rail road!
Gattan-Go is a company that conducts Rail mountain bike attraction here. The bike will be in a pair and cost 3000 yen (1500 yen per person) and the course takes around 1 hour. You will enjoy the beautiful nature and cycling in tunnel will be a good experience to try too! You can take a bus from Takayama station to this place.
