◆What is your current job?

When I joined Fuji Oil Holdings Inc,I was in charge of oil and fat development. Fats and oils are the fundamentals of the company and I was responsible for solutions proposals and patent applications to customers.　At first, I didn’t know what to do there, but the seniors helped me a lot and taught how to do it gently.
After the 5 years, I was transferred to “Team CEO” in the last year and I’ve been engaged in new business and top diplomatic support of our president. Since my main mission is creating a new business, it is required to have the entrepreneurial spirit. So, I personally participate in seminars and entrepreneurship program after my work, and also read many books to generate new ideas from zero. A very impressed book is the one of Dr. Clayton M. Christensen who is a Professor of Harvard Business School.

◆What is your dreams of the work ?

Now I want to create a new business. It is very difficult to create new business with a large enterprise, but I would like to gather colleagues in the company, share the dreams, and create new businesses. My dream is to create a company with a corporate value of US$1 billion. Even if I am not able to achieve the goal, I am happy if someone who is willing to connect my feelings and reaching my goal.

◆Please give your message to everyone !

The one who can speak Japanese may be easy for Japanese company to handle them. But from a long-term perspective, those who can not speak Japanese now have potentials to play an important role in the future at Japanese companies. I think different things are not negative, but it has power to change the things forward since they support the diversity. In Japan, there is the social problem of aging population problem and changing society in 2050. Let’s take advantage of the different perspectives of overseas, and give a good influence to the surroundings.
